The Melbourne Central Basketball Association (MCBA) would like to advise members of upcoming road closures and traffic impacts associated with the Melbourne Marathon and Around The Bay events.
These events are expected to affect travel to and from venues on the following dates:
- Sunday 11 October – Melbourne Marathon
- Sunday 18 October – Around The Bay
Players, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators are encouraged to plan their journey in advance and allow additional travel time when attending games. Alternative transport options may also need to be considered, particularly for those travelling through affected areas.
To assist members with their travel planning, maps outlining the impacted roads and closures for both events are provided below.
The MCBA appreciates everyone’s cooperation and patience during these major community events and encourages all participants to check current traffic conditions before travelling.
